The cause of these pop-ups is a clerical error: HP let the certificates for the software expire (this is like letting your driver license expire– you’re still you, but you can’t prove it to the TSA). You might think that Malwarebytes would fix this, but it can’t. They’ll make it impossible to use, because as soon as you click “OK” they pop right back up again, but they will not damage your computer. The first thing to know is, these error messages are themselves erroneous!
